Last Friday (8th May), a man diagnosed with acute respiratory symptoms at a clinic was given 5 days of medical leave and ordered to stay home.
However, the man not only left home during his medical leave, but met his friends at a shopping centre in Punggol, and even sat for an examination.
Photos of the man intentionally flouting the stay home rule (when given the 5 day MC), showing him taking the MRT and meeting his friends were uploaded onto his Instagram.
Some netizens who came across the man’s Instagram photos were so infuriated at him for endangering the lives of others, that they made a police report on Sunday (10th May).
The police confirmed that a report has been made and are currently investigating.
