A 28-year-old woman is suspected of driving without a driving license, after got involved in a accident with a lorry.
This incident happened on Monday (29th June) at around 3.22 pm at MaRaj Indian Restaurant & Caterers located at Verdun road. Based on a video of the accident which made its way round Facebook, a black car could be seen turning out from a side road and ramming into a white lorry, before losing control and crashing into the entrance of the restaurant.
The woman driver who was sent to Raffles Hospital for treatment, was later arrested for driving without a license, and driving a vehicle without the consent of the owner, as well as reckless driving.
Investigations are ongoing.
