41-year-old Madam Chew was having her meal at a foodcourt when she was approached by an elderly man in his 60s, who asked if he could share the table with her.
Madam Chew readily agreed to share her table, but noticed that the elderly man was wearing his mask under his chin, exposing his nose and mouth. After Madam Chew reminded the elderly man to wear his mask properly, the elderly man got so angry that he spat on Madam Chew and her food.
This incident happened yesterday (24th January) at around 1.30pm at the foodcourt located in Hougang Mall.
After the incident, Madam Chew took photos of the elderly man and made a police report.
The police are currently investigating the case.
