A man who got heavily drunk, grabbed a chopper from the kitchen and attacked his housemate, chasing him down from their 10th storey HDB unit to the ground floor.
This incident happened on Saturday (10th April) at around 3am, at a HDB unit located at Block 722 Yishun Street 71.
It was gathered that the two men were housemates, and that they had been drinking together outside before returning home.
In the aftermath of the attack, a trail of blood leading from the HDB unit to the lift lobby could be seen.
The police have confirmed that two men aged 36-years-old and 40-years-old were sent conscious to the hospital for treatment. The 40-year-old man was subsequently arrested for causing grievous hurt, and investigations are ongoing.
