Customer Demanded Refund From Prawn Noodle Shop After Prawns Found to be Not Deshelled

There are certainly no shortages of demanding and difficult customers when it comes to F&B businesses. From customers freaking out over a piece of cuttlefish (thinking it was a cockroach), to customers demanding for a refund because they lost a few mouthful of soup when their food delivery Bak Kut Teh order arrived.

But this particular customer can really be crowned champion. Just a few days ago, Deanna’s Kitchen which serves authentic Halal prawn noodles posted a screenshot of this refund demand from a customer. In the refund request, it was shown that the customer had filed for a refund after the prawn noodles with deshelled prawns she ordered, arrived seemingly with the prawn shells intact.

The most ridiculous part of the refund was that the customer had already consumed most of the prawn noodles, before feeling disgruntled about the unpeeled prawns and filing a refund through food delivery platform Deliveroo.

Fortunately, Deliveroo was sensible enough not to go ahead with the refund and deduct it from the sales of Deanna’s Kitchen.

However, this overly demanding customer had already invoked the ire of many netters, who quickly condemned the customer for being ridiculous. One particular netter had actually told the customer to go eat some Sh**!.
