Yesterday (25th July), Singapore political activism organisation “Wake Up Singapore” shared on their Instagram that PSP member Brad Bowyer had been making unsubstantiated comments about the harmful effects of COVID-19 vaccination on children in Telegram group “SG Concerned Parents” (a Telegram group for parents of children).
In the Instagram post, “Wake Up Singapore” commented that Dr Tan Cheng Bock, who is a qualified medical doctor, should not allow such misinformation to be spread by his own party member and former candidate. “Wake Up Singapore” also said that Dr Tan Cheng Bock and the PSP should not be associating themselves with a person like Brad Bowyer who spreads dangerous misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines in the middle of a pandemic.
In the comments, “Wake Up Singapore” added that while many unvaccinated people are dying from COVID-19, Brad Bowyer is still spreading anti-vaccination propaganda. As such, “Wake Up Singapore” urged Dr Tan Cheng Bock to take swift and immediate action against Brad Bowyer by sacking him, failing which, Dr Tan Cheng Bock shall be held liable for negligence.
“Wake Up Singapore” warned Dr Tan Cheng Bock that his voters will remember his inaction and silence, should he fail to take any action against Brad Bowyer.
