A body of a 83-year-old man was discovered by a cleaner among the trees and bushes along the Central Expressway (CTE).
This incident happened just yesterday (20th Mar), at around 10.25am, along the CTE heading towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE).
Reporters arriving at the scene also noticed police patrol cars parked at the foot of Block 472 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10, which is the HDB block closest to where the body was found. It was gathered that the deceased was a resident of the nearby HDB block, who had been living alone.
The police have confirmed that a case of unnatural death had occurred along the CTE. A 83-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. From preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
