Teo Heng KTV Boss Pays For Employee Couple’s Wedding Celebration and Solemnization Ceremony

A couple who got to know each other while working at Teo Heng KTV, wanted to get married, but were stressed up over the rising cost associated with getting married in Singapore. The boss of the popular family KTV outlet, Mr Jackson Teo himself decided to cover the full cost of the couple’s wedding.

7 years ago, 31-year-old Jiang, a male employee from China, met Zhuang, a 28-year-old Malaysian girl while working at the Katong Shopping Centre outlet, and fell in love ever since.

With the gradual easing of the COVID restrictions, the demand for wedding related services skyrocketed leading to an astronomical increase in the cost of marriage. The couple estimated that they needed at least $7,000, which was a considerable sum of money to the couple to fork out.

Upon knowing the couple’s difficulties, Mr Jackson Teo decided to “Bao” (cover) all the costs of the couple’s marriage.

Reporters arriving at the Katong Shopping Centre Teo Heng Outlet, saw over 20 people attending the couple’s wedding, making it a very joyous occasion.

Speaking to reporters, Jiang and Zhuang said they are extremely grateful to Mr Jackson Teo, and hope to settle down in Singapore and continue being a part of Teo Heng’s future.
