Cheapskate GoJek Passengers Book Ride But Turns Up With Dogs, Refuses to Cancel Ride When Driver Tells Them He is Allergic to Pet Fur

Pan Shao was responding to a Gojek booking yesterday, when he realised that the passengers had turned up with two dogs. After explaining to the two passengers that he was allergic to pet fur, and that he could not accept the ride, the two passengers said they would cancel the ride booking.

However, a few minutes passed, and Pan realised that the booking had not been cancelled. Pan returned to the two passengers, and told them politely that the booking was still active, and that they had not cancelled the ride.

To Pan’s surprise, the two passengers now say that they are not going to cancel the ride booking, as they would have to incur a $4 charge. As Pan is unable to accept new rides if the current booking was not cancelled, Pan asked the two passengers to contact Gojek about their grievances. The two passengers refused, and started an argument with Pan, where the whole incident was caught on camera.

In the video, the two passengers could be heard taunting the driver and sarcastically made fun of the driver. When the driver pleaded for them to cancel the ride booking so he can accept new rides, the passenger called the driver’s behaviour ridiculous for refusing to do his job.

The incident was resolved eventually when Pan contacted Gojek customer service himself and explained his situation.
