On Sunday (5th Apr) at around 5pm, a 61-year-old man who witnessed a man (57-years-old) quarreling at his HDB void deck at Block 23 Chai Chee Road, tried to mediate the quarrel but ended up getting into a dispute with the 57-year-old man.
In a fit of rage, the 61-year-old man rushed up to his to home to grab a knife, possibly in an attempt to scare the 57-year-old into backing down.
However, the 57-year-old man managed to snatch the knife from the 61-year-old and stabbed him in the chest with it instead before fleeing the scene.
The police have arrested two suspects, a 61-year-old man and a 57-year-old man for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon. The police are currently investigating the case.
