On Tuesday (28th April), local Cantonese singer Wysom Wong (40-years-old) discovered a 2.5m long python in his home.

Speaking to reporters, Wysom said that he was having dinner with his family that night, when his domestic helper who was cleaning the backyard ran back into the house shouting that she had saw a cobra snake.

Wysom quickly went out to check and found a python resting beside the swimming pool. Not wanting to put themselves in danger, his family immediately called SPCA to send someone to trap the python. Two staff members of the SPCA arrived shortly after and captured the python in mere minutes.

Its never a good idea to handle wild animals such as snakes by yourself. The best thing to do is to remain calm and call either the SPCA or Nparks for assistance.
