Last Sunday (16th Aug) at around 9pm, a 29-year-old Ferrari driver was abducted by four men after he got out of his car at Little India.

The abduction happened on a service road located along Verdun Road, near the Mustafa Shopping Centre.

According to eye witnesses, the Ferrari driver had just gotten out of his car, when a white Audi sedan suddenly pulled up beside him. Four men came out of the white Audi and forced him to kneel, before pulling him into their car and speeding off.

With the help of Polcams (police cameras), the police managed to solve the abduction case within a day.

The driver of the Ferrari was later identified as 29-year old Lin Zi Kai, who was earlier involved in an internet scam involving fake staycation packages at the Marina Bay Sands which he sold on Carousell. He was charged on Tuesday (18th Aug) for a cheating offence at the State Courts.

Four men aged between 31 to 34-years-old were arrested by the police in relation to the abduction case. It was believed that one of the four men was a victim of e-commerce fraud, and had gone after Lin for the money lost.

The abduction case is currently under police investigation.
