Heavy Rain Causes Floods in Bedok, Several Luxury Cars Left Stuck in Flood Puddle For Hours

Heavy torrential rains yesterday, caused flooding in several areas in Bedok, with some areas being flooded in knee deep water, leaving vehicles stranded on the road for hours.

At around 1.55pm yesterday (27th Feb), the road around Block 122 Bedok Reservoir road became so flooded that several vehicles, including a white BMW a black Mercedes Benz was left stranded after rising water levels caused their engines to stall.

21-year-old Leow who stays at the HDB block was shocked to see that the road in front of his home had literally become a river. He also noticed that several drivers were stuck on that road, and had to have their cars towed away.
