Disabled Toilet Attendant Alleged That He Was Bullied By Supervisor While Working at ION Orchard

Goh Jin Qiang is a disabled individual who suffers from partial impairments at the right side of his body.

According to Jin Qiang, he has a Diploma in Digital Animation, but was unable to find any related work due to his disability. In order to survive and make ends meet, Jin Qiang has been working as a toilet attendant for three years.

Sharing his experience on Facebook, on the morning of 28th June at around 6.50am, Jin Qiang was unable to find his time card, when he tried to punch in for the day. As a result, Jin Qiang was scolded by a supervisor, who said he would not be replacing his time card if he had lost it, and even went to tell on him to the vice manager.

Jin Qiang was angered and tried to explain that he did not misplace his time card, but that someone had taken it by mistake. But Jin Qiang’s explanations only made the supervisor even more angry, who lashed out at Jin Qiang again. Jin Qiang added that this supervisor even showed him an offensive gesture afterwards.
