26-Year-Old Indonesian Domestic Helper Falls to Her Death, Minutes After Texting About Dizziness to Friends
Just minutes after complaining of dizziness to her friends via text messages, a 26-year-old Indonesian domestic helper fell off the 6th storey HDB unit while she was cleaning the windows.
This incident happened yesterday (29th Mar) at around 4.53pm, at a HDB unit located in Block 464 Upper Serangoon Road.
The Indonesian maid had been working for her current employer for around 6 months, helping to take care of a wheel-chair bound elderly woman.
According to eye-witnesses, the Indonesian maid appeared to be still breathing but was seriously injured. The paramedics arrived shortly and sent her to Seng Kang General Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The police have confirmed that a 26-year-old woman was sent unconscious to the hospital for treatment, but later died of her injuries.
