Do Not Put Paywave Credit Card With Your EZ-Link Card Or Risk Double Deductions

Hi everyone please take note when taking bus or mrt ride. I kenna deducted bus/mrt fare from my uob credit card. When calling customer service staff, he can’t tell me which bus or mrt station for the fare deduction. I told him I didn’t use my credit card for any bus mrt ride. He say this transaction is from my uob paywave. If I didn’t use it, I have to report to police.

I say in the first place I didn’t even consent uob to activate my card for use in any transport ride. I tell him I want to opt out. He not very helpful say it is much easier if I do it myself over at the mrt machine. Kudo him.

Now if my wallet got ezlink card and uob card. It is possible that both my cards get deducted for my bus mrt ride. He can’t answer my question. Kudo him again. So u all better be careful if your debit or credit card are together with ezlink in same wallet.
