Swee Heng Bakery Apologised For Job Ad Typo, Paying Workers $1500+/month Instead
Swee Heng Bakery has apologised for a typo in one of its recruitment ads. Yesterday, a Swee Heng poster went viral for wrongly advertising that it will pay retail assistants $1,360/hour.
The photo has been shared in many pages and groups, with netizens claiming that they want to apply for the position. Some joked that they can enjoy a higher salary working at the bakery than being a minister of Singapore.
The bakery has issued an apology and correction:
Hi Swee Heng fans, as some of you might have seen our hiring notice has typo error, we apologize for the confusion. We have just uploaded the revised notice. If you are interested to join our team, do PM us and our HR team will contact you.
It is actually paying its workers $1500 to $1900 per month.
