Woman Finds Tattoo Artist Online to do Lotus Tattoo, Suffers from Scabs and Peeling Skin Days Later
A 26-year-old woman made an appointment with a 25-year-old male tattoo artist last Friday (9th Oct) to have a lotus tattoo done at her place. The tattoo of the lotus flower reportedly took two hours to complete.
The next day the woman complained that the tattooed area had became red and itchy, with scabs forming a few days later. She attempted to contact the tattoo artist, but was unable to get a response.
Suspecting that the tattoo needles might not have been sterilized, the woman took to Facebook and shared details of her ordeal.
The woman later realized after seeing a doctor that she was actually suffering from an allergic reaction to the tattoo ink.
The tattoo artist has since gotten in touch with the woman, and refunded her the money for the tattoo as well as compensating her for the medical fees. The tattoo artist also made a recording of an apology to the woman which he uploaded online. He hopes that this incident will not affect his reputation and business.
