Ex-Reform Party Politician Low Chiak Huan Petitions For Immediate Resignation Of Khaw Boon Wan & Desmond Kuek
Former Reform Party election candidate Frankie Low Chiak Huan launched a Change.org petition calling for the immediate resignation of Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan and SMRT CEO Desmond Kuek. The petition seeks 10,000 signatures before Low submits it to Prime Minister’s Office.
Currently, the petition garnered 200 signatures and is still far away from its intended target. If you wish to get your opinion on Singapore’s transportation heard, this petition could be an avenue for you to be heard on the national stage.
Despite the recent spate of incidents with Singapore’s MRT infrastructure, there are no signs of restructuring at the top management level. It waits to be seen if this 10,000 strong petition can make a difference in changing the mind of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong
