Putting up a notice to inform patrons of things not to do are usually sufficient in most scenarios. However, one drinks stall operator decided to take things up to the next level, and gave a very stern warning complete with serious consequences.

Sharing her find on the Complaint Singapore Facebook group, Tan Renee posted several photos taken of what appears to be a Chinese hand written notice, warning people not to take the food trays placed outside the stall.

The notice said “Who take this, whole family will die” (translated from Chinese). It was mentioned that the drinks stall in question was the Kopi Kaki drinks stall located at #02-62 of the Taman Jurong Food Centre.

Netizens commenting on the post wondered if the stall owner had the right to do so, as the food trays were owned by NEA and provided to the food centre for use by patrons. There were those who said that regardless of who the food trays belonged to, the stall owner should not be cursing people’s families like this.
