Bedok Family Tragedy, 35-year-old Mother Who Took her Life Believed to be Suffering from Postnatal Depression
A 35-year-old woman who took her own life together with her one month old baby in Bedok yesterday (29th Oct), was believed to be suffering from postnatal depression.
It was gathered that the woman got married in 2013 and had her first daughter soon after. According to sources, the couple’s Facebook were full of their daughter’s photos documenting her life.
On 20th September of this year, the couple welcomed their second baby girl Chevelle. Many photos of their new born child were shared by the deceased woman on her Facebook, with many friends and relatives leaving comments congratulating them.
The woman’s husband has yet to recover from the trauma of his wife’s sudden death. The woman’s funeral arrangements are being handled by her younger brother and relatives.
