6-year-old Boy Gets Stuck on Kitchen Ledge After Climbing Out Window, Gets Rescued by Tree Maintenance Worker

A 6-year-old boy who woke up at home and couldn’t find his parents, tried to climb out of the kitchen window to look for his mother but got stuck at the window ledge.
Fortunately, a maintenance worker who was pruning trees nearby witnessed this, and immediately went to his rescue. Using a boom lift, the maintenance worker was able to safely rescue the boy.
This incident happened just yesterday morning (3rd Jan) at around 7.50am, at the third floor of a Hougang HDB flat.
A video of the timely rescue was captured by a member of the public and posted on Facebook and Instagram.
Speaking to reporters, the SCDF said that the boy was safely rescued and unhurt when they arrived at the scene.
